Originally from Essex, England, I have been working in the Alps for the last 8 years, where I have been honing my craft working in restaurants and as a freelance private chef. My love of food came at a young age. Having grown up on a farm, fantastic produce was of the utmost importance when making delicious meals, and sharing food was, and still is, my favourite part of the day. I now take inspiration from all over the world to delight your palate, and it gives me great pleasure to share this joy with you.
As a private chef, my objective is to be thoughtful. Thoughtful in a way that I consider your needs, and embrace your dietary requirements to create a menu that you will love. I use local markets to buy the freshest produce, and to speak with local people about the best regional products, which allows me to create your meal in a considered way.
I am thoughtful that this is your holiday, and your time is precious, so the object for me is to blend into your chalet, villa, or home with subtlety and discretion, while always being punctual, and amenable to your requests.
My vision is to make people happy with food and to create something thought-provoking, something you are still thinking about long after the meal has finished. I cook vibrant, fresh food, which leaves you feeling energised, rather than lethargic.
Services Provided
As a private chef, I care deeply about the food I prepare. Beautiful, interesting food is what you can expect, and with that comes an all round service. From prompt responses to enquiries, an easy booking process through to cleaning down after your meal, professionalism and a will-do attitude is what you will find.

Ski Chalets
Full chalet catering from breakfast, through to afternoon tea, canapés and a 3 course evening meal; or simply an evening meal. You decide how you’d like your holiday to look.
Villas & chateaux
Available throughout the year to travel to villas and chateaux. Cooking you sumptuous food, and sourcing the best ingredients from local markets.
Larger groups
Exquisite buffets for special occasions and corporate groups, up to 25 people. A group larger than 25? Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Have enjoyed India’s food now on a number of occasions. Always know it will be fresh and vibrant in both taste and presentation, often with an innovative use of classic ingredients. She is attentive without being intrusive, and all in all ensure we can relax from the moment she is booked in with us.

This is a sample menu for a day in a chalet, but if you prefer a simpler, more hearty, alpine meal, this is of course a possibility too.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
An under-pinning goal of mine is to ensure that people with dietary requirements are not left wanting. I pride myself on creating inclusive menus and going out off my way to ensure their experience is the same as the rest of the group.
Having a partner who is coeliac, this inclusivity is very important to me. Gluten free baking is now something I am particularly interested in, and have even taken a specialist course.
All dietary requirements will be catered for, please let me know of the requirements of the group on booking.
